About Hira
Licensed therapist. Founder of Sahih Therapy.
I’m a licensed, holistic therapist. I meet every client where they are with empathy, compassion, humor, care, and empirically proven therapeutic modalities. I pull from EMDR, narrative therapy, internal family systems (IFS), CBT, DBT, solution focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and attachment focused work, weaving the approach to the person in front of me rather than the other way around. Before this work I was an educator, and that classroom lens still shapes how I sit with parents, kids, and the quiet weight families carry.
Clinically, my deepest love is EMDR. I have watched it change people’s lives in ways talk therapy alone often cannot reach, especially for trauma and the old wounds that still run the show in the present. EMDR is a robust, research backed modality (please, look into it yourself), and in session it can feel quietly miraculous: the body finally allowed to set something down. Alongside EMDR I work in dialectical behavior therapy, attachment focused work, and the slow repair of the parts of us shaped long before we had words.
I am a Muslim, first generation American of Pakistani heritage, and a first generation college graduate. Those threads sit with me in every session, and I hold a special place in my heart for clinical work with people of color, children of immigrants, Muslim clients, and anyone navigating layered identities most therapy rooms have not been built to hold. Children, teens, adults, partners, parents, and elders are all welcome. I love working with all people, from all backgrounds, and I do not just meet you where you are, I curate therapy for the exact space you need it to be. If that sounds like what you are looking for, I deeply welcome you to reach out.
My heart is in the work, and in the people. As I began to reach clinical capacity in my own practice, with more people seeking care than I could personally hold, I wanted to expand the impact of what I believe to be genuine and authentic, Sahih therapeutic care. That is why I founded Sahih Therapy: a practice where I handpick and match therapists to the people who come to us, and where I welcome anyone to tell me exactly what they are looking for in a therapist, from every angle. The goal is simple and stubborn. Genuine, identity aware care should be the standard, not the rare exception.

The Practice
Sahih Therapy.
صحيح Sahih is Arabic for authentic, sound, true. It is the standard I hold to, and the experience I’m determined every Sahih client will have. A practice where genuine, identity-aware care is the standard rather than the rare exception.
